Mark February 28 in red on your calendar—because it’s Winemaker’s Day here at Hofbräu Bamberg.
To help bring the names on our wine list to life, some of our local winemakers come to visit us in person.

Together with our neighbors from the Edelfrei wine shop, we will be welcoming the Van Volxem Winery, the Schäffer Winery, the Glaser Himmelstoss Winery, and the Schloss Sommerhausen Winery to our restaurant in the heart of Bamberg’s Old Town starting at 3:00 p.m.

Look forward to an enjoyable afternoon that’s not just about tasting, but also about storytelling: Get to know the people behind the wines, learn more about their origins, craftsmanship, and philosophy—and strike up a conversation in a relaxed and casual setting.

In a relaxed atmosphere, guests sample, discover, and share—without any reservations, but with all the more joy in the experience. It is moments like these that make events in Bamberg so special: they bring people together, foster a sense of connection with our producers, and bring the joy of food to life.

Wristbands for the tasting of the wines on display (€15 per person, excluding food) can be obtained by emailing info(at)hofbraeu-bamberg.de or starting February 1. until February 15 directly at our restaurant at 7 Karolinenstraße (Mon–Thu from 4 p.m. & Fri–Sun from 11 a.m.).

We look forward to a delightful conversation and a special day with you. Cheers!
